The company was founded in March 2012 by qualified technicians, coming from thirty years of experience in design activities inside the technical dept. of large companies. Starting from the experience achieved in the design activities of special machines and mechanical equipment for series production, they have brought GBM S.r.l. to the position of engineering service reference for large and highly specialized leading companies with a wide diversification in design and technologies.
Current strategies
The company's strategy is oriented on providing Design services focused on the industrialization and methodization of manufacturing processes. The business area is referred to medium – large dimension customers that have internally a technically prepared design staff and where the opinions comparison, the exchange of experiences, leads the effectiveness and completeness of the service provided, whereas the value (cost), even if important, is consequential.
Structure
The type of activities provided, essentially intellectual work, do not lead to a top-down, but to substantially single level organization. The activity or service to be performed is at first discussed collectively and then defined in its general and technical matters. The project manager is the person in charge for the job and has direct contact with the customer. The operational core is made up of mechanical designers with technical background in manufacturing times and methods and with many years of experience in design activities inside the technical dept. of large companies.
